Photo Shoot, Fail!

PHOTO SHOOT FAIL! LOL. We were supposed to have a photo shoot yesterday; however, Miguel was not able to charge his camera! So, we decided to have it rescheduled sometime next week. (photo shoot ain't for lookbook, okay?)

Chewy Junior PH

If you’ve been paying close attention to my tweets for the past week, you’d know that I’ve been craving for cream puffs. AND to finally satisfy that craving, my boyfriend and I went to Chewy Junior - Megamall branch (which is currently having a soft-opening) for the first time yesterday.
I only bought a piece of blueberry cream cheese cream puff (since we were about to have dinner then) and two “piso vouchers”. The cream puff was undeniably very chewy on the outside, and very creamy on the inside!
I’ll definitely come back for more cream puffs! As a matter of fact, I’ve already decided to pass by later this week to use my piso vouchers and purchase boxes of mini cream puffs for the entire family.

Chewy Junior PH branches:
  • Trinoma
  • SM Megamall
  • Greenbelt 3
  • SM Mall of Asia
  • SM Cebu
Avail of Chewy Junior PH’s piso voucher to get 50% off the price of your second box of mini cream puffs!
For more info, visit: Chewy Junior PH’s FB fan page and website.
(mandatory couple photo. lol)
(I’ll get more mouthwatering shots of ze cream puffs the next time I visit their store!)

Closet Files (Part One)

This is a photo of one of my closets. In this particular closet, I’m keeping my printed coats, polos, blazers, and vests. Apart from this, I still have one more closet (where I’m keeping my plain pieces of clothing) and a clothes rack in my room.

I will be posting more photos of my stuff soon!

Shoe Doppelganger

I came across this picture of Matiko Satine Leopard a while ago in Polyvore and I realized that it looks a little like the pair of shoes that I bought earlier this week here.

Haha! I can’t imagine myself spending more or less 7k (price posted in Polyvore) for this particular pair of Matiko pumps, considering my current situation (I’m only a student and I greatly depend on my weekly allowance).

Yes, this may be a great investment, but I’d splurge only if I have a high paying job (can’t wait to have one!). HAHA! So for now, I’d settle with affordable versions of designer shoes a.k.a knock-offs. Sad!

Thrift Shopping!

Yesterday, I went thrift shopping before going straight home. After painstakingly browsing a great number of clothes racks, I got to buy 4 pieces of clothing from various thrift shops near my house and these cost 380 pesos only! Great finds, eh?
Denim acid-washed vest with silver studs
light denim acid-washed biker jacket
mustard brown high-waist shorts
royal blue top with plunging neckline

Honestly, I'd rather go thrift shopping than shop in malls. Why?
Because stuff (clothes, shoes, bags) from thrift shops are:
  • incredibly cheaper than those found in malls
  • not mass produced, ergo, lesser chance of seeing someone else having the same stuff!
  • sometimes designer stuff, in excellent condition, sold at a lower price
  • are available in styles, which are not usually found elsewhere
AND! Considering that I use a great portion of my allowance for shopping and don't get extra shopping money from my parents, I usually resort to buying stuff which are relatively more affordable than those found in malls.

(BUT don't get me wrong! I still shop in malls from time to time, especially when I have excess supply of money. HAHA!)

So, what do you think of thrift shopping?

  • Liquid leggings (bought online)
  • White Doc Martens 10-eye boots

  • Necklace (Girlshoppe)

Random Find at Shoe Ville, Inc.

After attending a group meeting in Makati, I went to Cubao and bought this pair of shoes! Lovely, isn’t it?
  • Shoe type: Pumps
  • Material: Velvet/Suede
  • Heel type: Stilettos
  • Heel height: 4 inches
  • Description: Plain black with leopard design on the heels and outsoles

BUT WAIT, THERE’S MORE! Believe it or not, this pair costs 580 pesos only.
(Bought this from Shoe Ville Inc., located at New Farmers Plaza Market & Shopping Center, Cubao, Quezon City)
